Chhatarpur’s Daughter Brings Glory to MP

A proud moment for Madhya Pradesh as a young shooter from Chhatarpur clinched the gold medal in a national-level air rifle shooting championship held in Uttar Pradesh. Her outstanding performance has brought honor to her district and inspired aspiring athletes across the state.

 
 

The daughter of Bundelkhand has brought laurels to Madhya Pradesh. The daughter of Chhatarpur in the state has won the Gold Medal. She secured first place in the country in the national level shooting competition. This competition was held in Agra district of Uttar Pradesh.


The All India Air Rifle Bench Rest Shooting Championship 2025 was organized in Agra, UP. In which Chhatarpur's daughter Nitya Srivastava won the gold medal in Under 20. This competition was organized by the Rim Fire and Air Rifle Bench Rest Shooting Association of India and Precihole Sports. During the competition, the participant has to complete at least 25 targets in 20 minutes.


Shooters from across the country, who reached Agra on Saturday, participated in the All India Air Rifle Bench Rest Shooting Championship 2025. Participants participated in six categories in it. In this competition, Nityaa Srivastava of Chhatarpur, MP, secured first place in the country by hitting 211 targets in the under 20 category and won the gold medal. More than 100 participants from various states of the country including Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Delhi, Rajasthan, Punjab, Maharashtra, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Haryana, Karnataka, Assam and Nagaland took part in this competition.
