Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav to Inaugurate Kshipra Tirtha Parikrama and Launch 'Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam' Campaign on World Environment Day
Kushabhau Thackeray Hall Hosts Environmental Programs; Tree Plantation Drive to Begin Statewide
On World Environment Day, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav will inaugurate the Kshipra Tirtha Parikrama in Ujjain and commence the 'Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam' campaign at Kushabhau Thackeray Hall in Bhopal. The campaign aims to plant 5.5 crore saplings across Madhya Pradesh, honoring mothers and promoting environmental conservation.
Shipra Tirtha Parikrama started from Ramghat on Wednesday. This journey started with flag worship. Many dignitaries, scholars and saints participated in this journey. Today on June 5, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav will join this journey. Various temples and important places located on the banks of Shipra river will be visited in this two-day parikrama. Chief Minister Dr. Mohan will offer a 351 feet long chunari to Mother Shipra at Ramghat. On this occasion, the Army Symphony Band, famous Hari Katha narrator Pt. Dholi Buwa Maharaj of Gwalior, famous bhajan singer Swasti Mehul of Mumbai will give performances.

Today, on World Environment Day, many programs will be held in Kushabhau Thackeray Hall of the capital Bhopal. Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav will join the World Environment Day program in Kushabhau Thackeray Hall at 11 am. Here he will inaugurate the workshop on "Pollution Control of Water Sources". CM Mohan will also distribute the Madhya Pradesh Annual Environment Award. After this, he will participate in local programs organized in Ujjain from 1 o'clock.
