Child selling gang busted in Indore: Illegal business was going on under the guise of care center, five women arrested

Once again a big conspiracy related to human trafficking has been busted in Indore, Madhya Pradesh.

Raoji Bazar police station has busted a child selling gang and arrested five women, who were illegally buying and selling children under the guise of a care center. These women used to call themselves an organization helping the needy, but in reality they were weaving an organized net of child trafficking.

Instructions to curb crimes in the city and take immediate action on illegal activities were given by Police Commissioner Santosh Kumar Singh. In this sequence, DCP Zone-4 Rishikesh Meena received an intelligence information, after which under the guidance of ADCP Disha Agarwal and ACP Vijay Chaudhary, police station in-charge Umesh Yadav raided the Raoji Bazar police station area and action was taken by registering a case under crime number 166/2025 section 143, 62 BNS. The arrested women include Pramila (resident of Mayur Nagar Musakhedi), Vandana (resident of Tower Square Indore), Ranu, Priya Maheshwari and Sonben (all three residents of Ujjain). Shocking revelations have come to light during interrogation. Pramila and Vandana have previously gone to jail in the Hiranagar police station area for selling children, which makes it clear that this is not a new game but an already ongoing organized crime.

The method of these women was very clever. This gang used to run fake care centers in the name of serving the elderly and helping the needy. From here, such families were contacted who were ready to give children for adoption or sell them due to some compulsion. Then illegal bargaining of children was done, in which a huge amount was extorted. At present, the police team is interrogating all the accused in depth and the search for other people associated with this network is going on. The police suspect that this gang may be active in many districts and there may be more big faces behind it.
