Monsoon has become active in Madhya Pradesh. Chief Minister Dr Mohan Yadav has instructed the officials to remain in alert mode during the rains. Districts have been given instructions regarding disaster management, relief and rescue operations. He said that problems related to rainy season should be resolved quickly. Proper arrangements of fertilizers and seeds should be made for the farmers.
Safety of citizens should be our priority
CM Dr Mohan Yadav discussed with senior officials, collectors and superintendents of police through video conferencing from the Chief Minister's residence on Thursday. During this, he instructed that 28 districts have received more than normal rainfall this month. Necessary arrangements should be made during the rainy season. The rainfall in the state from June 1 to 26 is 37 percent more. Alirajpur and Neemuch districts have received the highest rainfall. In view of the forecast of heavy rainfall, barricades should be installed on culverts and bridges etc. where water is flowing from above. Safety of citizens should be the top priority.
