CM Dr. Mohan Inaugurates Craft Fair; UP Governor Questions GST on Handicrafts

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan inaugurated the much-awaited craft fair, emphasizing the importance of promoting artisans and handcrafts over machine-made products. During the event, Uttar Pradesh Governor voiced concerns about the imposition of GST on handicrafts, urging a re-evaluation to support traditional artisans. The fair showcased a wide range of unique handmade products, celebrating craftsmanship and cultural heritage.

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr Mohan Yadav inaugurated the craft fair. During this, he said that the soul of Bhopal resides in Bhopal Haat. Small people are working on their skills. There is a wonderful exhibition here. We have to connect everyone with work. There is a need to promote people instead of getting work done by machines. MP's ministry will help in promoting craft.

On Thursday, CM Dr Mohan Yadav inaugurated the Craft Roots Handicraft Exhibition organized at Bhopal Haat. During this, Uttar Pradesh Governor Anandi Ben Patel was present. A five-day craft fair has been organized in Bhopal's Haat Bazaar. Where artists from all over the country have set up 80 stalls. Addressing the program, the Chief Minister said that the soul of Bhopal resides in Bhopal's Haat Bazaar. An amazing exhibition has been organized in the capital. At the same time, he said that steel utensils are not good for eating. Food should be eaten in bronze utensils.

Products going abroad in the name of Gramshree - Anandi Ben Patel

UP Governor Anandi Ben Patel also addressed. She said that these artists have preserved our heritage. It is the age of technology, everyone needs good clothes. Many children are coming from abroad to learn. BJP workers should connect the society by forming a big organization. Products are going abroad in the name of Gramshree. She told that 25 years ago PM Narendra Modi suggested the name Gramshree. I was asked who will come into politics from my family, I used to say that no one from my family will come into politics.

UP Governor gave this advice regarding GST on crafts

The Governor said that all the Chief Ministers of the state should meet Prime Minister Modi and demand the removal of GST on crafts. Anandi Ben said that PM Modi will definitely listen.
