CM Mohan Yadav to Release 38th Ladli Behna Installment, Launch ₹239 Crore Projects in Bhind

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav will visit Bhind to release the 38th Ladli Behna Yojana installment worth ₹1,835 crore and inaugurate or lay foundation stones for development projects worth nearly ₹239 crore.
Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav will visit Lahar in Bhind district on Sunday to participate in a state-level programme where he will release the 38th installment of the Ladli Behna Yojana. Under the scheme, more than 1.25 crore women beneficiaries across the state will receive financial assistance exceeding ₹1,835 crore through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) into their bank accounts with a single click.
Besides transferring the scheme benefits, the Chief Minister is also scheduled to inaugurate and lay the foundation stone for development projects worth nearly ₹239 crore, covering health, education, infrastructure and welfare sectors.
56 Development Projects to Be Dedicated
According to the official programme, Dr. Yadav will dedicate a total of 56 development works valued at ₹238.96 crore. This includes the inauguration of 40 completed projects and the foundation laying of 16 new projects.
Among the key projects to be inaugurated are Primary Health Centres at Chaumho and Akloni, Community Health Centres at Surpura and Umri, the workshop building of Government Polytechnic College in Bhind, separate 50-seat hostels for Scheduled Caste boys and girls, the Government College building at Akoda, and the Joint Tehsil Building at Amayan.
Foundation Stones for ₹83 Crore Projects
The Chief Minister will also lay the foundation stone for 16 projects worth ₹83.33 crore.
These include additional classrooms and laboratory facilities at Pratappura, an extension building for the Government Polytechnic College, a 250-seat Scheduled Caste girls' hostel, a 100-bed labour rest house (Rain Basera), a submersible bridge over the Vaishali River, new Janpad Panchayat buildings at Ater and Gohad, construction of cow shelters in Machhand, Mihona, Shyampura and Aswar, along with other infrastructure works under the Chief Minister's Urban Infrastructure Development Scheme.
Condolence Visit Before Public Programme
Before attending the public function, Dr. Yadav will arrive at the grain market helipad in Lahar at 1:35 pm. From there, he is scheduled to visit Sikri Jagir, the native village of Lahar MLA Ambrish Sharma (Guddu), to offer condolences following the demise of the legislator's mother.
After the condolence visit, the Chief Minister will address a public gathering at Bhatan Tal Ground, where he will also distribute benefits to eligible beneficiaries under various government welfare schemes.
Administration Completes Preparations
The Bhind district administration has completed preparations for the Chief Minister's visit. District Collector Kirori Lal Meena, Superintendent of Police Suraj Kumar Verma and Lahar MLA Ambrish Sharma inspected the venue and reviewed arrangements late on Saturday.
Officials have finalised security, traffic management, parking facilities, stage arrangements and other logistical preparations. Personnel from various departments have been deployed to ensure the smooth conduct of the programme.
Following the event, the Chief Minister is expected to depart for Gwalior at around 3:45 pm.
