Congress State President Jitu Patwari Slams Government Over Public Issues
Bhopal, M.P
Congress state unit president Jitu Patwari on Thursday sharply criticized the state government over a series of public concerns, including rising inflation, unemployment, and what he called a failure to address basic civic issues.
Speaking to the media, Patwari said that the common people of Madhya Pradesh are suffering due to the lack of effective governance. He accused the ruling party of being disconnected from ground realities and focusing more on political image-building rather than delivering meaningful results.
Patwari highlighted the growing dissatisfaction among youth, pointing to the lack of job opportunities and irregular recruitment processes. He claimed that the government had made tall promises during the elections but failed to fulfill them, especially in areas related to education, employment, and welfare schemes.
The Congress leader also took aim at the rising cost of living, saying that essential commodities are becoming unaffordable for ordinary families. He alleged that the government’s policies have led to economic stress on the middle and lower-income groups, with no relief in sight.
In addition, Patwari criticized the administration for what he described as poor handling of urban development and basic amenities in cities like Bhopal and Indore. He mentioned frequent power cuts, water supply issues, and traffic mismanagement as examples of ongoing civic problems that remain unaddressed.
Patwari urged the state government to shift its focus from publicity campaigns to practical action that improves the daily lives of citizens. He also stated that the Congress party would continue to raise these issues both in public forums and in the Assembly.
His remarks come at a time when political temperatures are rising in the state ahead of key civic and local body elections.
