Congress to raise ₹100 from 25,000 homes in every assembly constituency

The Madhya Pradesh Congress has decided to collect ₹100 each from 25,000 households in every assembly constituency to financially strengthen the party. The party believes this initiative will not only ensure steady funding but also enable leaders to establish direct contact with families contributing to the party’s finances.

Training of district presidents in Pachmarhi

A training camp for Congress district presidents will be held in Pachmarhi from November 2 to 11. During the camp, the party plans to announce the names of about 1,000 block presidents for the state. Names of block presidents from 20 districts have already been finalised, and the remaining will be decided within a week.

Immediately after the training, a 60-day program will be launched to form Panchayat Congress Committees and Ward Congress Committees in all gram panchayats across Madhya Pradesh. Leaders and office bearers will be assigned responsibilities in this program.

Rahul Gandhi to hold one-to-one meetings

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi is scheduled to join the Pachmarhi training camp after the first phase of voting in the Bihar Assembly elections on November 6. His program is expected between November 8 and 10.

During the camp, Rahul Gandhi will not only address the district presidents but will also hold one-to-one meetings to discuss social and political conditions, challenges, and future strategies in their districts. Mallikarjun Kharge is also expected to participate during this period.

District presidents to receive management training

Seventy-one Congress district presidents will undergo 10 days of training in Pachmarhi. The program will cover daily routine management, public engagement, booth management, cadre management, and district-specific strategies.

Experts including Congress Training Department National President Sachin Rao, former IAS officer Shashi Kant Senthil, Supriya Shrinate, Pawan Khera, Jairam Ramesh, KC Venugopal, and Harish Choudhary will conduct sessions.

The PCC has issued clear instructions to district presidents regarding attendance. Leaders must reach the venue by 10 AM on November 2, and no gunmen, drivers, or personal assistants will be allowed entry.

Congress training program was organised in Tendukheda.

Roadmap for upcoming elections

The camp will focus on building the party organisation from the block, mandal, sector, ward, and gram panchayat levels up to the booth level. District presidents will be briefed on strategies for upcoming urban body elections, panchayat polls, and preparations for the 2028 assembly and 2029 Lok Sabha elections.
