Political tension flares over religious conversions as BJP claims conspiracies against Sanatan Dharma are failing, while Congress questions the government's inability to curb such activities, demanding accountability and action.

Politics has started after the disclosure of conversion in the slum area of Madhya Pradesh's capital Bhopal. While the opposition party Congress has attacked the government, BJP said that the game of conversion started during the Congress rule, which is still going on secretly. A war of words is going on between Congress and BJP regarding the matter.

Former Congress MLA Shailendra Patel said that the game of conversion has been going on for years. BJP is in power in Madhya Pradesh for years. Despite all the laws, the government has failed to curb it. Conversion has been made the center of politics. The work of the government is being done by Hindu organizations, Bajrang Dal and Vishwa Hindu Parishad. The government is acting arbitrarily through VHP and Bajrang. The government should answer why it is not able to rein in the cases of conversion.

BJP state spokesperson Ajay Singh Yadav said that it is the Congress that promotes missionaries. This game started during the Congress rule. Congress is against Sanatan. The government is constantly taking action on the cases. Strict action will be taken against those who convert. The conspiracies being hatched against Sanatan will fail.
