The second patient has been identified as a young man, who is originally a resident of Dewas. The youth is undergoing treatment at a hospital in Indore and has been immediately shifted to the isolation ward.

Information sent to Dewas Health Department

The Chief Medical and Health Officer (CMHO) of Indore has sent information regarding the infection of the youth to the Dewas Health Department, so that the process of contact tracing and sampling can be started there.

Family members will be tested

The health department team has started preparations to take samples of other members of the positive youth's family. For this, contact tracing staff has been deployed.
