Corruption Continues in MP: Patwari Caught Taking Bribe Again

Bribery refuses to stop in Madhya Pradesh! Another Patwari has been arrested by the Lokayukta while accepting the second installment of the bribe — caught red-handed taking money straight from his pocket. Anti-corruption action intensifies.

Corruption cases are not stopping in Madhya Pradesh. Government officials and employees are being caught taking bribes every day. The latest case has come to light from Bhind district. Gwalior Lokayukta Police has arrested a Patwari red handed while taking a bribe of three and a half thousand. At present, the Lokayukta team is engaged in further action.

According to the information, Puran Singh Gurjar, a resident of village Ano of Gohad tehsil of Bhind, met Patwari Shivcharan Singh Narwariya to transfer his uncle's one and a half bigha land. The Patwari demanded eight thousand rupees for the transfer. After which Puran Singh gave four and a half thousand rupees. But the Patwari said that he would transfer the name only after giving the full amount.

After this, Puran Singh Gurjar complained about the whole matter. Gwalior Lokayukta caught the Patwari after verifying the complaint. As soon as Gurjar Singh gave three and a half thousand rupees to Patwari Shivcharan Singh, Lokayukta caught him red handed. The bribe amount was recovered from the accused's pant pocket. At present, Lokayukta police is engaged in further action against the accused under the PC Act.
