Delhi Observers to Choose Congress District Presidents

The Congress party has appointed observers to oversee the selection of district presidents in Delhi. AICC and MP Congress have finalized 68 names for the positions.

 

The process of selecting Congress district president has started in Madhya Pradesh. In this series, observers from Delhi and Madhya Pradesh will choose Congress district presidents. As part of the process for Congress district president, the party has appointed observers.

Actually, All India Congress Committee (AICC) has finalized 68 names and MP Congress has finalized 68 names. Observers will go to the districts and prepare a panel of district president contenders. The names included in the panel will be sent to Delhi. In Delhi, senior leaders will take the final interview of the district president. After this, the names will be decided.

Under the pilot project in Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh, new changes are taking place in the organization. Now the names of the district president will be finalized after interviews at the district level, not from Delhi.
