Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar's Portrait to Be Installed in Madhya Pradesh Courts: Law Department Writes to High Court

The Madhya Pradesh Law Department has officially written to the High Court, proposing the installation of Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar's portrait in all state courts. The move aims to honor his contribution to the Indian Constitution and uphold his legacy in the justice system.

 

Bharat Ratna Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar's picture will now be put up in all the courts of Madhya Pradesh. The Department of Law and Legislative Affairs has sent a letter to the Registrar General of Madhya Pradesh High Court in this regard and requested. This demand was raised by the OBC Advocate Welfare Association, after which the association wrote a letter to the Acting Chief Justice of the High Court demanding to put up Dr. Ambedkar's picture in the courts of Madhya Pradesh on the lines of Karnataka. This step is being seen as a respect for the Constitution maker Dr. Ambedkar and remembering his contribution.

The OBC Advocates Association had made the demand
The officials of the OBC Advocates Welfare Association had sent a memorandum to the Chief Justice of Madhya Pradesh High Court Sanjeev Sachdeva and the Registrar General regarding this demand. Association President Parmanand Sahu and senior advocate Rameshwar Singh Thakur said that this demand was made on the basis of equality.
