Ex-Girlfriend Issues Public Warning to Bhim Army Chief Ahead of Muzaffarnagar Rally

A new controversy has surfaced ahead of the Constitution Day rally of Bhim Army Chief and Uttar Pradesh MP Chandrashekhar Azad ‘Ravan’ at the Government Inter College ground in Muzaffarnagar. Dr. Rohini Ghavri, Azad’s former girlfriend, has issued a sharp public warning on social media, drawing widespread attention.

In a post shared on Sunday night, Dr. Ghavri wrote, “If anyone from Chandrashekhar's stage even touches me, the whole country will see his respect for women.” She also accused Azad of misleading society to fulfill his political ambitions, asserting that she would now challenge his parliamentary authority.

Dr. Ghavri’s posts have sparked debate on social media and prompted heightened vigilance from local authorities. She stated that police would not stop her from approaching the stage and assured that full security would be provided during the rally on November 26.

In another post, she claimed, “The stage is Chandrashekhar's, people are Chandrashekhar's, but the oath will be of Dr. Rohini Ghavri. I will come on stage, sit with you, and give a speech too.” She framed her appearance as fulfilling a long-held personal expectation of being on the same stage as Azad.

Dr. Ghavri, daughter of a cleaning worker at Indore’s Insurance Hospital, studied in Switzerland in 2019, where she reportedly met Azad. The two were in a relationship for three years before Dr. Ghavri accused him of sexual harassment. She is currently based in Switzerland and runs an NGO.

The controversy is further intensified by past social media posts, including threats of self-harm made by Dr. Ghavri earlier this year. Authorities in Muzaffarnagar have indicated they are monitoring the situation closely to maintain law and order during the rally.

The upcoming Constitution Day event now carries heightened tension, with both the Bhim Army leadership and Dr. Ghavri’s supporters watching closely.
