Today again, the fortunes of a young farmer Abhilash and his three companions changed overnight when they found a magnificent 4 carat 90 cent gem quality diamond from a private mine in Jaruapar. They have deposited this precious diamond in the district diamond office today. Its estimated price is being estimated to be around Rs 10 lakh. Which will be put in the upcoming auction.
Three companions had tried their luck by getting a lease
Abhilash, along with his companions, Rajesh Majumdar and Dilip Kumar Mistry, had set up a mine in a private farm in Jaruapar by getting a lease from the diamond office and after hard work, they got success today. Encouraged by this success, farmer Abhilash said that he will use the money received after the auction of the diamond to set up a mine in future and improve the financial condition of his family.
About a dozen diamonds have been found earlier also
It is noteworthy that Dilip Mistry, in whose name this diamond lease was, has already found more than a dozen big and small diamonds. Diamond officer Anupam Singh, while giving information, said that this is a gem quality diamond, which has a good demand in the market. It will be included in the upcoming auction. After the auction, after deducting 11.5 percent royalty, the remaining amount will be deposited in the farmer's bank account.
6 rare diamonds of 16 carat 21 cent found this month
Diamond officer Anupam Singh, while giving information, said that due to intermittent rains this month, a total of 6 diamonds have been deposited in the diamond office from August 1 till date, whose weight is 16 carat 21 cent. He said that all these will be kept in the upcoming auction. In which diamond traders from every corner of the country will come to buy them.
