Employment Drive in Bhopal: 261 Youth Receive Job Offers; Union Minister Shivraj Encourages Service with Integrity

A major employment fair was held on Saturday at the Narmada Railway Club Auditorium in Habibganj, Bhopal, where 261 candidates received appointment letters for government positions.
Out of the total, 201 candidates were selected for posts in the Railway department under the West Central Railway’s Bhopal Division, while the remaining 60 secured jobs in various central government departments such as banking, CISF, postal services, and the Narcotics Control Bureau.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed around 51,000 newly appointed government employees across India via video conferencing, congratulating them and urging them to contribute actively to the nation's progress.
Union Minister’s Message to the New Appointees
In Bhopal, Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan attended the event as the chief guest. Addressing the gathering, he encouraged the newly appointed individuals to work with dedication, honesty, and a true spirit of public service. He highlighted the employment fair as an essential step toward empowering the youth and building a self-reliant India.
Strong Turnout and Family Support
The event witnessed a large turnout, including family members of the selected candidates, who joined in to celebrate the beginning of their loved ones' professional journeys. The atmosphere was filled with enthusiasm and pride.
Minister Vishwas Sarang, Minister Krishna Gaur, MP Alok Sharma, MLAs Rameshwar Sharma and Bhagwandas Sabnani, along with several senior railway officials including Divisional Railway Manager Devashish Tripathi and Additional DRM Rashmi Diwakar, were also present.
Senior Divisional Personnel Officer Vijay Singh mentioned that the first 30 appointment letters were personally handed over by the Union Minister, while the rest were distributed by departmental officials and other dignitaries present at the event.
