Guest Teachers to be Appointed in MP Schools
Bhopal,M.P
The School Education Department has ordered filling of vacant posts in government schools, paving the way for appointment of guest teachers.
The Madhya Pradesh government has taken a major step to address the teacher shortage in government schools. The School Education Department has issued orders for the immediate appointment of guest teachers to fill vacant positions. This decision was taken due to the delay in the recruitment process during the semester.
Over 70,000 vacant positions are vacant in the state's government schools, including those at the primary, secondary, and higher secondary levels. The government is relying on guest teachers due to the delay in permanent recruitment for the 2025-26 semester. The School Education Department has issued instructions to all principals to recruit qualified guest teachers locally. This process will be conducted online through the GFMS (Guest Faculty Management System) portal.
