According to officials, the incident took place on April 15 between 5:30 pm and 9 pm in the Gola Ka Mandir area. The victim, a 48-year-old contractor involved in real estate dealings, was allegedly lured to a location under the pretext of a financial discussion.

Police said the accused not only assaulted the victim but also threatened him at gunpoint and forced him into humiliating acts. The brutality of the crime has raised serious concerns over law and order in the city.

Accused Identified

The suspects have been identified as Omkar alias Bhure Sikarwar, Indrapal Singh Tomar, Jitendra Sikarwar, and Gauri Yadav. Police confirmed that one of the accused is related to a known gangster who was killed in a gang rivalry in 2019.

A case has been registered under multiple sections, and teams have been deployed to track down the accused, who remain absconding.

How Victim Was Trapped

As per the complaint, the victim had known Omkar for nearly a decade. He was called to discuss a pending financial transaction involving another individual. Upon reaching the designated spot, he was taken to an office where several men were already present.

The victim alleged that he was immediately threatened and physically assaulted upon arrival.

Police sources indicated that the accused demanded money from the victim and forced him to arrange funds digitally. When he failed to meet their demands, they allegedly intensified the assault.

The victim further alleged that he was threatened with death and coerced into signing financial documents under duress. The accused reportedly used intimidation tactics to extract compliance.

Investigators revealed that the accused forced the victim to sign three cheques worth ₹10 lakh each. Two cheques belonged to the victim’s account, while one was from his wife’s account.

The victim told police that he was compelled to call his son to bring the cheque book, after which the accused filled in the amounts and forced him to sign.

Senior police officials stated that multiple teams are conducting raids at possible locations to apprehend the accused. “The accused will be arrested soon,” a senior officer said, adding that the case is being treated with urgency.
