Madhya Pradesh High Court has got three new judges. These include Gwalior's senior advocate Pawan Dwivedi and advocate Deepak Khot. Both of them have been appointed as High Court Judge. At the same time, Jabalpur's advocate Amit Seth has also been appointed as High Court Judge. The central government has issued its notification.
New judges have been appointed for Jabalpur and Gwalior Bench. In such a situation, now the number of judges working in the High Court has increased from 32 to 35. Although the total sanctioned posts of High Court Judge are 53, 18 posts are still vacant. The special thing is that the representation of Gwalior has increased due to five judges in MP High Court. Before Justice Pawan Dwivedi, Justice Deepak Khot, three senior advocates have also become High Court judges. All three have also been members of the High Court Bar Association.

The names of Senior Advocate Deepak Khot and Advocate Pawan Dwivedi were recommended by the Supreme Court Collegium on 9 January 2024.
