Head Constable Killed, 2 Cops Injured in Bolero Accident

A police team chasing a kidnapping accused met with a tragic accident when a speeding Bolero hit them. The head constable died on the spot, while an ASI and a constable were seriously injured.

A painful road accident near Andhmuk bypass in Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh has shaken the police department. This accident happened when a team of Yadav Colony police station was going to catch an accused of kidnapping a girl. A speeding Bolero hit the police vehicle, as a result of which Head Constable Abhishek Shinde died tragically during treatment at the medical college.

ASI Dani Singh Narte and constable Ashutosh Bharti were also seriously injured in the accident. Both are undergoing treatment at the medical college. As soon as the information of the incident was received, top police officials including SP Sampat Upadhyay reached the medical college and took stock of the situation. The police have started searching for the Bolero that hit the vehicle and the matter is being investigated thoroughly.

Accident or murder - police engaged in investigation

Head constable Sanjeevani has been posted in many police stations of the city before Nagar police station. Abhishek has also clashed with criminals alone many times. The TI had given the task that criminals of Andhmuk bypass are active. They have to be caught.

On Wednesday night, when they were standing on the roadside waiting for the criminal coming by bus, a speeding jeep hit them. After the incident, the police is now investigating from this angle whether this incident was done intentionally or not.
