Heavy Rain Alert: 17 Districts on High Watch

Heavy rainfall is forecasted across 17 districts today, with water accumulation possibly reaching 8 inches. Check if your city is on the list and stay prepared for waterlogging or flooding risks.

The series of rains continues in Madhya Pradesh. There is an alert of very heavy rain and heavy rain in 17 districts of Jabalpur, Sagar, Rewa and Shahdol divisions.

According to the Meteorological Department, there is an alert of very heavy rain in Panna, Damoh, Maihar and Katni. There is a possibility of up to 8 inches of water falling in these districts in 24 hours. Heavy rain warning has been issued in Shivpuri, Bhind, Guna, Chhindwara, Seoni, Balaghat, Dindori, Anuppur, Umaria, Sidhi, Rewa, Mauganj and Satna.

At the same time, there is a yellow alert of rain in the remaining districts including Bhopal, Gwalior, Indore and Ujjain. Let us tell you that 2 troughs are passing through the state. In which one is a monsoon trough. Due to which there is a period of heavy rain in the entire state. If the meteorologist is to be believed, the period of heavy rain will continue in the state for the next four days.
