High Speed Claims Life of Village Sarpanch: Tragic Road Accident in Jabalpur; Son Critically Injured

Pappu alias Beni Prasad Yadav, the Sarpanch of Gram Mada in Jabalpur, lost his life in a tragic road accident on Monday afternoon. The incident occurred while he was heading toward Patan in a high-speed car along with his son Nikhil Yadav and another individual.

Car Overturned at 100 kmph After Losing Control
The accident took place around 1 PM as their car crossed the boundary of Gram Mada. According to eyewitnesses, the car was moving at a speed of over 100 kilometers per hour. Suddenly, the vehicle lost control and overturned into a roadside field.

The Sarpanch died on the spot, while his son Nikhil Yadav sustained serious injuries. He was immediately taken to a private hospital in Jabalpur for treatment.

Under-Construction Road and High Speed Caused the Tragedy
Initial investigation by local villagers and police suggests that the road was under construction, with ongoing repair work. The incomplete road surface combined with high speed was a major factor in the accident. Villagers stated that the mishap might have been avoided had the road been properly leveled.

Police Investigation Underway, Last Rites Scheduled for Evening
As soon as the police from Patan station received information, they reached the spot, prepared the preliminary report, and sent the body to the Patan Health Center.
ASP Suryakant Sharma confirmed the death of the Sarpanch and informed that the last rites would be performed later in the evening. A full investigation into the cause of the accident is ongoing.
