Indore Influencer’s Property Dispute With Friend Turns Ugly; Allegations of Fraud, Threats and Impersonation Surface

A property dispute between Indore-based social media influencer Parul Ahirwar and her friend Gaurav Rawal has escalated into a series of serious counter-allegations, drawing police attention and sparking online debate among their large follower base.
The conflict began over an 800 sq ft house the two allegedly purchased together in 2020. Parul claims she and Gaurav each deposited ₹4 lakh as the initial amount, after which Gaurav took a ₹20 lakh bank loan on the property. According to her, she paid ₹9,000 monthly towards her share of the instalments under a written agreement. She alleges Gaurav later stole this agreement and secretly registered the house in his name. She says she learned in June 2025 that he had sold the property to a third party, prompting her to file a fraud complaint with the Crime Branch.
Gaurav, however, refutes the allegations and has submitted a written complaint to the Police Commissioner and the DCP. He maintains the house in Shubhangan Omax One City was jointly planned but legally registered in his and his mother’s names. He alleges Parul failed to pay an additional ₹5 lakh she had agreed to, deposited only ₹4 lakh with the builder, and lived in the property for 18 months while paying rent. He claims Parul later pressured him to transfer a portion of the house to her without clearing dues.
The dispute intensified after Gaurav accused Parul’s associate, Veer Sharma, of intimidation. He alleges Veer visited his sister Mamta’s office, misbehaved with her, and later called her while impersonating a Lasudia police officer. He has submitted two audio clips to support his claims.
Gaurav’s lawyer says no police notice has been issued yet, adding they will seek legal action if defamatory content appears online. Meanwhile, both Parul and Veer have significantly reduced their social media presence as the case continues to unfold.
