Relative lures woman with marriage promise, assaults and holds her captive; accused arrested

According to the victim, on December 11 she went to Tulsi Clinic in Kelod Kankar for job-related work. During this time, Anand arrived there and expressed his love, claiming he wanted to marry her. He then forcibly made her sit on his motorcycle and took away her mobile phone.
The accused kept her moving from place to place and later confined her in a room in Dewas. He subsequently took her to Chittorgarh, where he pressured her to marry him and physically assaulted her. He also threatened to kill her family members if she refused to marry him.
The victim managed to retrieve her mobile phone with the help of a passerby and contacted her family. Her relatives then reached the spot and brought her back safely.
Station In-charge TI Taresh Soni said the accused works in a factory and had kept the victim’s phone to prevent her from contacting her family. He was arrested during the night.
