Insurance Scheme Deadline Extended for Journalists

CM Dr. Mohan announces extension of application date for journalists’ Health and Accident Insurance Scheme, assures government support in all times.
Madhya Pradesh CM Dr Mohan Yadav has made a big announcement. The last date for application for Health and Accident Group Insurance Scheme for communication representatives has been extended. Now you can apply till 27 September. For the current financial year 2025-26, the premium will be taken from the journalists like the financial year 2024-25. The remaining amount of the increased premium will be borne by the government.
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that the state government is always with the journalists who give direction to the society in their happiness and sorrow. In the Health and Accident Group Insurance Scheme for communication representatives operated by the Public Relations Department, the premium will be taken from the journalists for the current financial year 2025-26 like the last financial year 2024-25. The remaining amount of the increased premium from last year will be borne by the government.
He said that in the interest of journalists, the last date for applying to avail the benefits of this group insurance scheme has also been extended to 27 September. Earlier its last date was 22 September. In a message issued to the media on Saturday, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that now every year the same amount of premium will be taken from the journalists as was paid by them in the financial year 2024-25. Taking premium from journalists as in the last financial year will incur an additional expenditure burden of Rs 4.50 crore on the state government.
