Justice for Khandwa's Nirbhaya: Case to Proceed in Fast-Track Court

In the case of gang rape and brutality with a middle aged woman in Khalwa police station area, police has registered a case of rape and murder against two accused and arrested them. According to the information, police also reached the village with the accused late on Sunday night, but the police did not get any evidence related to the incident.

Police can reach the village again with the accused. Currently, police presented both the accused in Harsud court on Monday morning. Here the police will demand remand of both the accused for interrogation.

In the case, ASP Rural Rajesh Raghuvanshi said that the case will run in fast track court. Police will settle the case in the court within the stipulated time limit. At the same time, the police will keep the crime in the category of rarest of rare and will demand death penalty for the criminals. Here, there is anger among the villagers about the incident. The villagers are holding meetings unitedly regarding the matter.

Congress also formed an investigation committee
The villagers say that the accused should be given the harshest punishment. Congress has also opened a front regarding the incident. Congress officials and workers are reaching the village to meet the victim's family. Congress has formed an investigation committee regarding the gang rape case. It is being said that this investigation committee of Congress will go to the village and investigate the matter. Congress leader Shobha Ojha, former minister Vijayalakshmi Sadho and Bhikangaon MLA Jhuma Solanki have been made members of the committee.
