Khajuraho MP VD Sharma Joins Commonwealth Parliamentary Meet Virtually

MP VD Sharma participated virtually in the Commonwealth Parliamentary Committee meeting, where key discussions were held on democratic governance, youth participation, and parliamentary transparency.

Bhopal. Madhya Pradesh BJP State President and Khajuraho MP Vishnu Dutt Sharma attended the meeting of the 'Commonwealth Parliamentary Committee'. VD Sharma put forward his views on the need to implement and discuss colonial era laws in the Commonwealth Parliamentary Committee. Along with this, he discussed in detail the relation of colonial era laws to human rights issues and other contemporary challenges faced by the Commonwealth.

MP BJP President and Khajuraho MP VD Sharma joined virtually as a member in the meeting of the Subcommittee of Planning and Review of the 68th Commonwealth Parliamentary Committee held in London. VD Sharma said that in our view we can focus on the contemporary situation and future prospects.

Let us tell you that the meeting of the Commonwealth Parliamentary Committee i.e. Commonwealth Parliamentary Association has been organized in London (UK) on 12-13 May. In which Khajuraho MP participated as a regional representative from India. Due to the situation between India and Pakistan, the London (UK) tour of the members representing India was cancelled. Due to this, the members joined the meeting virtually.
