Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav on Monday said the state has emerged as one of India’s leading investment destinations, positioning itself as a fast-growing hub for information technology, industry and start-ups. Addressing the Rajasthan DigiFest–TiE Global Summit 2026 in Jaipur, he said Madhya Pradesh ranked as the country’s third-highest investment-attracting state in 2025, reflecting strong economic momentum.
Speaking before investors, policymakers and industry leaders, Dr. Yadav highlighted the state’s central location as a natural advantage for trade, manufacturing and exports. “Madhya Pradesh offers profitability in every sense. Industry-friendly policies, improving infrastructure and an investor-supportive government have created an enabling business environment,” he said, inviting companies to expand operations in the state.
Calling Rajasthan a “sister state,” the Chief Minister stressed the need for inter-state cooperation to accelerate technology-led growth. He said Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan would work together to promote IT-sector industries, innovation and start-ups, particularly in Tier-2 cities.
Dr. Yadav said Madhya Pradesh is witnessing balanced development across sectors, including IT, manufacturing and healthcare. He pointed to recent initiatives under the public-private partnership model to establish new medical colleges and hospitals, aimed at strengthening healthcare infrastructure and increasing the availability of trained doctors.
The Chief Minister also referred to conservation efforts, noting that Madhya Pradesh has added two new tiger reserves in the past two years. “The state is already known as the Tiger and Vulture State, and cheetah populations are also increasing,” he said, underscoring the coexistence of development and environmental protection.
Additional Chief Secretary for Science and Technology Sanjay Dubey said Tier-2 cities such as Indore and Bhopal are emerging as leaders in India’s technology landscape, alongside Jaipur. He outlined key incentives under the state’s new policies, including subsidies of up to ₹30 crore on ₹100 crore IT investments, ₹34 crore for drone technology projects and ₹38 crore for semiconductor ventures.
Industry leaders at the summit praised Madhya Pradesh’s evolving business ecosystem. Impetus Technologies CEO Sanjeev Agrawal said the state’s IT sector has matured and is now serving global clients. Infobeans Technologies co-founder Siddharth Sethi highlighted Indore’s rapidly expanding IT Park and progressive policies in drone and space technology. Yash Technologies co-founder Dharmendra Jain said the company employs over 1,500 people in Indore, citing the city’s strong industrial ecosystem.
Manufacturing and sustainability sectors also drew attention. Clinispplies India director Prerita Baheti announced a ₹100 crore manufacturing facility at the Vikramaditya Medical Device Park in Ujjain, expected to generate more than 1,000 jobs. Gravita India CMD Rajat Agrawal described recycling as a future-oriented industry linking economic growth with environmental sustainability.
During the summit, Dr. Yadav held one-on-one meetings with CEOs and global investors, including TECOM Group’s Ammar Al Malik, to explore long-term partnerships and institutional collaboration for Madhya Pradesh’s growth.
