Madhya Pradesh Youth Congress Announces Internal Elections; Poll Process Begins Today

The Madhya Pradesh Youth Congress has officially kicked off its organizational elections, aiming to usher in a new generation of leadership within the party.

The Youth Congress in Madhya Pradesh has initiated its internal electoral process, paving the way for young leaders to take on key roles within the party. The elections will cover all organizational levels, from state leadership to block and assembly units.

In addition to selecting the new State President, the elections will also determine members of the State Committee, District Committees, and Assembly Committees, ensuring a comprehensive overhaul of the youth wing’s leadership structure.

Election Timeline Announced

As per the official schedule:

  • April 19–25: Youth Congress coordinators will visit various districts across the state.

  • April 27–May 6: Nomination process for all posts will be open.

  • April 28–May 7: Scrutiny of applications and hearing of claims and objections will take place.

  • May 7–9: Final verification of nomination papers.

  • By May 11: Final list of eligible candidates will be published.

The election details were shared by Syed Nasir Hussain, the Election Commissioner for Youth Congress Madhya Pradesh, along with state in-charge Sheshnarayan Ojha.

These elections are expected to bring in a fresh wave of youth leadership that could play a vital role in shaping the Congress Party's future strategies in the state. Notably, the last Youth Congress elections in Madhya Pradesh were held in 2020.
