In a significant devotional gathering, several prominent personalities, including television actress Ulka Gupta, Gujarati singer Kinjal Dave, South Indian actress Monal Gajjar, and former Indian cricketer Sunil Joshi, attended the famed Bhasm Aarti at the Mahakaleshwar Temple in Ujjain on Wednesday morning.

According to temple authorities, the group arrived at around 4 AM and proceeded directly to the Nandi Hall, where they participated in the ritual that lasted for nearly two hours.

The visiting celebrities actively took part in the Bhasm Aarti, one of the most revered rituals dedicated to Lord Shiva. They were seen chanting hymns and prayers along with other devotees during the ceremony.

As per reports, they also paid homage to Nandi, the sacred bull, by whispering their wishes in his ear—a tradition followed by devotees visiting the temple.

Following the completion of the Aarti, the group performed Jalabhishek by offering water to the Shivling and had close darshan of Lord Mahakal. Temple officials later felicitated the visiting dignitaries as part of customary protocol.

Speaking after the darshan, Ulka Gupta described the experience as deeply spiritual. She said the atmosphere inside the temple was so powerful that she lost track of time during the ritual.

She noted that witnessing the adornment of the Shivling up close and being part of the chanting and rhythmic clapping during the Bhasm Aarti was a rare and fulfilling experience.

Kinjal Dave and Monal Gajjar also expressed their gratitude for being able to attend the early morning ritual, according to sources present at the temple.
