Majid Makes History in JEE Advanced 2025: Secures AIR-3, MP Topper; Jabalpur’s Dev Scores Perfect 100 in Chemistry

The results of JEE Advanced 2025, conducted by IIT Kanpur, were announced today. This year, Madhya Pradesh has performed remarkably well at the national level. Majid Mujahid Hussain from Burhanpur secured an All India Rank (AIR) of 3, bringing pride to the state. Majid attributed his success to self-confidence and mental stability. He stayed away from social media for two years and studied consistently for 12 hours a day.
Dev Kaurav Scores 100/100 in Chemistry
Dev Kaurav from Jabalpur secured AIR-159 and achieved a perfect score of 100 in Chemistry, adding another feather to the state’s cap. He said this was possible through deep understanding and continuous revision.
Harshita Becomes State Topper Among Girls
Harshita Goyal from Indore secured AIR-434 and topped the Kanpur zone among female candidates. She started preparing for JEE from class 11 and had scored 99.90 percentile in JEE Main 2025. Harshita aspires to pursue a future in Computer Science or Artificial Intelligence.
Aarush and Hamza from Bhopal Make the City Proud
Aarush Navkar from Bhopal secured AIR-427 and topped the city. Mohammad Hamza secured AIR-1595. He said health issues affected his performance last year, but this time, he proved himself with a better result.
Key Details About the Exam
The JEE Advanced exam was held on May 18, 2025, in two shifts. Out of 1,80,422 candidates nationwide, 54,378 have qualified. The exam is conducted for admission to 17,740 seats across 23 IITs. This year, the responsibility for conducting the exam was assigned to IIT Kanpur.
