Major Accident Averted as Bus Collides with Tree to Avoid Trailer

There was a stir in the Bansagar area of ​​the district this morning when a passenger bus of Nafees Travels going from Rewa to Shahdol narrowly escaped a major accident. This incident took place near village Rampurwa (Budhwa), where the bus crashed while trying to avoid a speeding trailer.

According to eyewitnesses, as soon as the bus reached near Rampurwa, a trailer truck was coming from the front at a high speed and in a reckless manner, seeing the head-on situation, the bus driver showed alertness and tried to take the bus to the side of the road, but due to losing balance, the bus directly collided with a big Mahua tree. The collision was so strong that the front windshield (glass) of the bus broke completely. At the time of the accident, there were about 30 to 35 passengers in the bus.

The passengers panicked due to the sudden incident and there was a lot of screaming inside the bus, however, miraculously no passenger was seriously injured in this accident. Some passengers did get minor scratches but all are safe. Some passengers travelling in the bus said that the trailer was moving at a very high speed and it was coming in the middle of the road. If the bus driver had not taken the bus aside in time, there would have been a direct collision and a major accident could have happened. The collision was averted due to the alertness of the driver.
