Major Illegal Liquor Bust in Shivpuri: 4 Arrested with 110 Crates of Liquor, 2 Vehicles Seized

SDOP Shivnarayan Mukati informed that the action was carried out under the directions of SP Aman Singh Rathore. Following a tip-off from an informer, Karera TI Vinod Chawai began monitoring two vehicles carrying illegal liquor heading towards Karera.

During checking at the canal bridge near Sheetla Mata Temple, 85 crates of Bold Company beer and 7 crates of country-made liquor were recovered from the loading vehicle. The driver Sonu Prajapati and cleaner Pushpendra Lodhi failed to produce valid documents. Additionally, 18 crates of country-made liquor were seized from the Scorpio. Its drivers, Pran Singh Yadav and Phool Singh Lodhi, also did not have valid licenses.

Interrogation revealed that the liquor was being transported from Mohna to Neeraj Yadav of Karera. Cases under Section 34(2) of the Madhya Pradesh Excise Act have been registered against all four accused. Notably, three of the accused already have criminal cases registered against them in Karera and nearby police stations. The police are also preparing to question Neeraj Yadav.
