Massive Fire in Cowshed: 5 Cows Burnt Alive, Short Circuit Suspected

A devastating fire broke out in a cowshed, killing five cows on the spot. Initial investigation suggests the blaze may have been triggered by a short circuit.

A massive fire accident took place late at night in village Ujra Bara of Papaundh police station area, situated at the extreme end of the district. Due to a sudden fire in the cowshed near the house, five cows tied there were burnt to death on the spot.

Five cows died in no time

A stampede situation was created in the cowshed built in the house of Ramkrishna Mishra, a resident of village Ujra Bara of Papaundh police station area of the district, when the cowshed caught fire. In no time, the flames of fire engulfed about 5 cattle present there. 5 cows died in this fire incident. Villagers said that the fire was so intense that there was no chance to recover. Seeing the flames of fire, people ran towards the spot and tried to extinguish the fire by pouring water with their hands. But the fire was so intense that the cattle could not be taken out, five cows died in no time.
