Deadly Family Dispute

A 16-year-old boy allegedly stabbed his father to death following a heated argument in Madhya Pradesh’s Jabalpur district, police said on Tuesday. The incident took place late Monday night in the Kosamghat area under Barela police station limits.

The victim, identified as 40-year-old labourer Ramesh Kol, succumbed to injuries during treatment at a district hospital. The accused minor has been detained and sent to a juvenile reform home in Seoni after being produced before a juvenile court.

According to preliminary police investigation, the altercation began when the teenager attempted to leave the house at night. His father, who had reportedly returned home intoxicated, questioned his movements.
