Morena Tragic Road Accident: Two Villagers Killed, 20 Injured as Tractor-Trolley Overturns

A tragic road accident occurred in Morena district, resulting in the death of two villagers and injuries to over 20 others. The incident took place near Karahdham Ashram in the Nurabad police station area, where a speeding tractor-trolley lost control and overturned. Over 40 people were onboard, all heading to attend a wedding ceremony.

According to eyewitnesses, there was chaos and screams as the trolley overturned. In the accident, 50-year-old Munshi Jatav and 35-year-old Pista Jatav died on the spot after being crushed under the trolley. Four seriously injured persons have been referred from the district hospital to Gwalior for advanced treatment. Among the injured are several women and small children.

Upon receiving information, police and administrative officials reached the district hospital and instructed for the best possible treatment for the injured. Meanwhile, the tractor driver fled the scene after the accident, and a search is underway to locate him.
