MP Coronavirus Cases: One More Patient Tests Positive in Indore, Total Reaches 21
Rising COVID-19 cases in Indore heighten public and health authorities' concerns
Indore reported one new COVID-19 case, bringing the city's total to 21. The steady rise in infections has increased tension among residents and put pressure on local healthcare services. Authorities urge strict adherence to safety protocols to curb further spread.
The number of patients infected with Covid-19 is continuously increasing in Madhya Pradesh too. Another case of corona virus infection has been reported in Indore on Monday. Chief Medical and Health Officer (CMHO) Dr. Saitya, while giving information, said that a total of 21 cases of corona have been reported in the district so far. Of these, 15 cases are from Indore district, while 6 cases are related to other states.
Dr. Saitya said that 1 new positive case has been registered in the last 24 hours. At present there are 5 active cases, which are being continuously monitored. It is a matter of relief that no serious symptoms have been seen in all the infected. Patients who had symptoms like common cold, cough and fever were tested, some of whom have been reported corona positive. All these patients are in isolation at home and are in regular contact with the health department team.
Dr. Saitya said that the guidelines issued by the central and state government. The health department is following them. He appealed to the general public to be cautious, avoid crowds and come to the hospital only when necessary.
