The Director of Public Instruction has issued instructions to all the District Education Officers to make e-attendance mandatory for teachers. According to the Education Department, many institution heads are not applying e-attendance themselves, due to which teachers are also not following it.
The department has clarified that strict action will be taken against those who violate this order. District education officers have been instructed not only to ensure compliance with the order, but also to monitor it regularly. This step of the education department is considered important in the direction of promoting discipline and transparency in schools.
Here, this initiative of the education department will increase the pressure on teachers and institution heads to register regular attendance, which is expected to improve the educational system.
