Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav to visit Delhi; tough stance on power company officials; state-level festival 'Rural Color, Tourism Sang' begins today with CM's participation.

Today's schedule of CM Mohan Yadav

  • Will attend the program 'Rural Colors - Tourism Sang' at Kushabhau Thackeray Hall at 11.00 am
  • Meeting regarding revenue receipts at CM House from 2.30 to 03.30 pm
  • Will attend the local program in Delhi from 5.30 pm
  • Will attend the local program after garlanding the statue of Rani Lakshmibai in Gwalior at 7.30 pm
  • Strictness on officers of power companies

Energy Minister Pradyuman Singh Tomar has expressed displeasure over the officers of the power company over frequent power outages and unannounced cuts. In a review meeting through video conferencing on Tuesday, he said - Remove the officers who are not fulfilling their responsibilities, post qualified junior officers in their place. The minister said in a strict tone - Why so much tripping even before the monsoon? Give priority to CM Helpline complaints, maintenance and faults. The special thing was that orders were given on the spot to stop the salary increment of 15 officers who did not receive the call. The minister instructed that during inspection, every officer should go to the field and see the work, otherwise action is certain.

To encourage self-employment and economic development through rural tourism, "Rural Rang, Tourism Sang" state level festival will be organized at Kushabhau Thackeray International Convention Center in Bhopal, the capital of Madhya Pradesh, on Wednesday, June 18 at 11 am. Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav and Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Culture, Tourism, Religious Trust and Endowments Dharmendra Singh Lodhi will be present in this festival. People playing an important role in rural tourism will be encouraged in the program.
