MP Police’s Dial-112 Becomes a Lifeline for Families: 25 Missing Children Reunited with Loved Ones Across the State

Upholding its motto of “Seva, Suraksha aur Samvedna” (Service, Security and Sensitivity), the Madhya Pradesh Police has once again demonstrated its dedication to citizen welfare. In the past few days, the state’s Dial-112 Emergency Response Service, in coordination with local police stations, has successfully rescued and reunited over 25 missing children with their families, according to a statement released by the Police Headquarters (PHQ) on Tuesday
Dial-112 Teams Earn Praise Across MP
PHQ officials said Dial-112 teams from Bhopal, Gwalior, Sagar, Vidisha, Dewas, Sehore, Chhindwara, Seoni, Panna, Katni, Ujjain, Khandwa, Harda, Narsinghpur, Bhind, Neemuch, Satna, Niwari, Shivpuri, and Khargone have been widely appreciated for their swift action and compassionate approach.
Thanks to the seamless coordination between field officers, technology, and community cooperation, police were able to trace several children within hours of being reported missing—turning despair into relief for many families.
Notable Rescue Operations

In Gwalior’s Maharajpura, a four-year-old boy was located and safely returned to his parents within hours.

In Bhopal’s Piplani and Ayodhya Nagar, police rescued two children aged three and five after swift alerts through Dial-112.

In Bhind’s Lahar and Kotwali, two young children were found and handed back to their families by prompt-response teams.

In Chhindwara’s Amarwara, a 14-year-old girl with mental disabilities was found near Singodi Bus Stand and reunited with her family.

During the Sharad Purnima fair in Panna, officers sensitively located a four-year-old mute and hearing-impaired girl and reunited her with her mother.

At Katni railway station, a missing four-year-old boy was traced, with his mother breaking down in tears of joy upon their reunion.
