MP to Open Industrial Development Office in Ahmedabad: CM Mohan Yadav Highlights Gujarat’s Role in India’s Growth
Bhopal, MP
In a major push to boost cross-state investment and industrial collaboration, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav announced the establishment of the Madhya Pradesh Industrial Development Corporation (MPIDC) office in Ahmedabad, Gujarat.
The announcement came during an interactive session with industrialists in Surat, where the CM emphasized Gujarat’s indispensable role in India’s overall development.
“Gujarat is not just an economic powerhouse; it represents a rich cultural and national identity,” said CM Yadav. “By opening the MPIDC office in Ahmedabad, we are creating an industrial bridge between Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh — one that goes beyond commerce and reflects our shared values and unity.”
Gujarat’s Integral Role in India’s Rise
Reflecting on Gujarat’s historical and cultural legacy, CM Yadav stated that the land is not only 300 years of industrial history but also a part of India’s eternal spiritual lineage through Lord Krishna’s legacy in Dwarka. “India’s complete transformation is impossible without Gujarat’s contributions,” he affirmed.
He praised the resilience and simplicity of the Gujarati people, stating that even in difficult times, the citizens of Gujarat uphold values of humility, hard work, and spirituality — qualities that align closely with India’s Sanatan cultural roots.
Honoring Icons of Unity
Highlighting India’s freedom movement, CM Yadav paid tribute to Mahatma Gandhi and Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, hailing them as architects of modern India. “Gandhiji led the country to independence, while Sardar Patel united over 600 princely states to form a unified India,” he noted.
India’s Economic Emergence on Global Stage
India’s economic journey has seen monumental growth, CM Yadav said, citing that from the 15th position in 1947, India is now one of the world’s top economies. He credited Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership for this transformation, praising his vision, transparency, and commitment.
Gujarat Sets the Benchmark in Business
Praising Gujarat's pro-business environment, CM Yadav said, “Gujarat’s ease of doing business, administrative transparency, and culture of innovation have set benchmarks for the entire country.” He encouraged industrialists to explore opportunities in Madhya Pradesh, which is following a similar path with investor-friendly reforms and sector-specific growth models.
MP’s key focus areas include MSMEs, large-scale industries, agriculture, textiles, tourism, healthcare, and green energy, supported by robust policies and digital facilitation for investors.
MP: A State of Unique Opportunities
CM Yadav highlighted MP’s remarkable 39% agricultural growth rate and its standing as a leader in wildlife conservation and eco-tourism. He humorously remarked, “In Bhopal, the roads belong to citizens by day and tigers by night,” illustrating the state’s rich biodiversity and success in wildlife protection projects like the Cheetah Reintroduction Program and tiger reserves.
“Our state offers a unique combination of culture, spirituality, industrial growth, and ecological richness,” said the Chief Minister. “We are well on the path to becoming a cornerstone of Aatmanirbhar Bharat (self-reliant India).”
