The Madhya Pradesh Waqf Board has issued an advisory regarding sacrifice and namaz on Eid. It advises not to share videos, audios and photos of sacrifice on the internet. Along with this, it has been asked to offer Eid namaz inside the Idgah or in the mosque premises.

Do not sacrifice banned animals under any circumstances. The advisory asks to strictly follow the government orders. Actually, Eidul Azha is one of the major festivals of Islam. Therefore, the board issues advisories from time to time.

Let us tell you that sacrifices are offered on a large scale on Bakrid. At present, most of the people have smartphones, they enthusiastically post videos, photos related to sacrifice on social media, make stories, due to which there is a possibility of other people's sentiments getting agitated. Due to this apprehension, such advices are issued by the board.

• Do not sacrifice banned animals under any circumstances
• Do not make any video/audio of sacrifice and make it viral on social media
• Muslim community should not offer namaz in the open
• Keep the place of sacrifice closed from all sides with a wall/tin shed
• Spray necessary medicines at the places of sacrifice
• Consider it your religious and moral responsibility to take special care of cleanliness
• Sacrifice only at the places selected for sacrifice, take it to your place after covering it properly
• Throw the unused things of the sacrificial animal safely in the container kept by the Municipal Corporation/Municipality or at the selected places only

Demand to ban cow slaughter on Bakrid in Jabalpur

Meanwhile, Vishwa Hindu Parishad in Jabalpur has demanded a ban on cow slaughter on Bakrid. A Hindu organization has submitted a memorandum to His Excellency to stop cow slaughter under the pretext of Bakrid. A memorandum was submitted to the SDM on behalf of Vishwa Hindu Parishad Mahakoshal Province. There has been a demand for strict police action on Eid, checking of vehicles and strict action in case of such an incident.
