MP Weather Alert: Nautapa Fizzles on Day 2, Rains Continue in Several Districts

The intense heatwave known as Nautapa remained ineffective for the second consecutive day in Madhya Pradesh, as many districts witnessed unexpected rainfall. The cooler weather is likely to continue today, bringing relief to residents from the scorching summer temperatures.

MP Weather Alert: The period of thunderstorm and rain continued on the second day of Nautapa in Madhya Pradesh. Drizzle occurred in many districts including Indore. The weather will remain changed on the third day of Nautapa in the state. The Meteorological Department has issued a warning of rain in many areas. While the mercury remained above 40 in four cities, the temperature in the remaining cities was recorded below 40 degrees.

Rain alert in these districts

According to the Meteorological Department, low pressure area and cyclonic circulation are active in the state. Due to which thunderstorm and rain is occurring. It was told that similar weather will remain for the next three to four days. Today, on Tuesday, there is a rain alert in Indore, Ujjain, Mandsaur, Neemuch, Agar-Malwa, Ratlam, Jhabua, Alirajpur, Dhar, Barwani.

There is a warning of thunderstorm and rain in Khandwa, Khargone, Burhanpur, Harda, Betul, Narmadapuram, Chhindwara, Pandhurna, Seoni, Balaghat, Mandla, Dindori, Anuppur, Umaria, Shahdol, Satna, Sidhi, Singrauli, Rewa, Mauganj and Maihar. The weather will remain clear in the rest of the districts.

On Monday (26) May, it rained in many districts of the state including Indore, Ujjain, Gwalior. On the second day of Nautapa, 41.6 degrees were recorded in 4 cities of the state, Naugaon, 41.4 degrees in Khajuraho, 41 degrees in Tikamgarh and 40.2 degrees in Damoh. The temperature in the rest of the cities remained below 40 degrees.
