MP Weather: Alert of strong storm and rain in 30 districts of Madhya Pradesh today, weather will remain changed till 16 May
These days the mood of the weather has changed in Madhya Pradesh. The period of storm and rain is continuing in the state. While the scorching sun and humidity is troubling people during the day, there is cloud cover after noon and there is sporadic and heavy rain at some places. On Wednesday, there is an alert of strong storm and rain in 30 districts including Bhopal. The weather will also remain changed in Indore, Ujjain-Narmadapuram division, while Jabalpur-Gwalior will remain hot.
According to the Meteorological Department, the districts in which there is a storm and rain alert on Wednesday include Bhopal, Ujjain, Gwalior, Morena Bhind, Datia, Niwari, Tikamgarh, Chhatarpur, Sagar, Damoh, Narsinghpur, Chhindwara, Betul, Seoni, Mandla, Balaghat, Ashoknagar, Guna, Vidisha, Raisen, Narmadapuram, Burhanpur, Khandwa, Dewas, Sehore, Shajapur, Agar-Malwa and Rajgarh. There is a possibility of strong storm and rain in many districts till May 16.
On Tuesday, the phase of storm and rain continued in the state. There was heavy rain in Bhopal in the afternoon. The whole city was drenched in about half an hour. Due to the high speed of the wind, one to one and a half feet high waves arose in the big pond. There was also rain in Dhar, Ratlam. At the same time, more than one and a quarter inches of water fell in Malajkhand of Balaghat. Amidst rain and storm, the effect of heat was also seen in many cities. Khajuraho was the hottest. Where the temperature was recorded at 42.4 degrees. 42 degrees in Naugaon, 41.8 degrees in Satna, 41.2 degrees in Rewa, 41.1 degrees in Umaria, 41 degrees in Tikamgarh, 40.8 degrees in Sidhi, 40.4 degrees in Narsinghpur, 40.2 degrees in Guna and the mercury was 40 degrees Celsius in Mandla.
Monsoon can knock in MP on June 15
According to the Meteorological Department, the arrival of monsoon can happen on June 15. On Tuesday, the monsoon knocked in Andaman Island. Now it will move forward slowly and by June 15, it will come to the state through the southern part of the state i.e. Balaghat, Seoni, Mandla, Betul, Burhanpur etc. districts. Within 10 days, the monsoon can cover the entire state.
