MP's LIC officer killed, daughter injured in Pahalgam attack
A proud servant of Madhya Pradesh and the Life Insurance Corporation lost his life in the devastating Pahalgam terror attack, while on vacation with his family. His daughter sustained injuries and is undergoing treatment.
LIC branch manager Sushil Kumar Nathaniel posted in Alirajpur district was shot dead by terrorists. His daughter Akanksha was also injured in this attack, who was shot in the leg. The whole family had gone to Kashmir to celebrate his wife's birthday.
The news of the incident has spread a wave of mourning in Indore and Alirajpur. The family has demanded the government to take the strictest action against the terrorists. At the same time, 'Sanskriti Bachao Manch' has raised the demand for a direct attack on Pakistan.
Sushil Nathaniel was the branch manager in the LIC branch of Alirajpur. He had reached Kashmir a few days ago with his wife Jennifer, daughter Akanksha and son Aston. The family's purpose was to celebrate the birthday of Jennifer, who is a teacher in a government school located in Khatipura.
At the time of the incident, the family was celebrating a picnic in the Baisaran area, when the terrorists started indiscriminate firing. During this, Sushil was hit by several bullets, due to which he died on the spot. Injured Akanksha was immediately taken to the hospital, where her condition is now said to be stable.
Grief and anger in the family and the city
Sushil was originally from Jobat in Alirajpur district, while his family currently resides in Veena Nagar in Indore. As soon as the news of the incident was received, silence spread at home. Relatives and acquaintances are constantly reaching to offer condolences, but the condition of the family is very bad.
Demand for attack on Pakistan raised
After the incident, 'Sanskriti Bachao Manch' convenor Chandrashekhar Tiwari gave a sharp reaction. He said, "Hindus are being targeted selectively. Amarnath Yatra has not even started and terrorists have started spreading fear. This is not the time to remain silent. There should be a direct attack on Pakistan."
Expectation of retaliatory action from the government
Family members and social organizations have demanded from Prime Minister Narendra Modi that this barbaric attack should be answered by selectively killing the terrorists. Along with this, the countrymen are also being appealed to maintain unity.
