The Ministry of External Affairs has announced that, starting this month, regular passport applicants aged 18 and above in Madhya Pradesh can opt for post-police verification at no extra cost—previously available only under the Tatkaal scheme—effectively removing the mandatory in-person visit to Passport Seva Kendras.
Now you will not have to worry about getting a passport made in Madhya Pradesh. Mobile passport van service is being started in the state. From checking documents to biometric scanning, facilities will be provided in this moving van. Due to which now the applicant will not have to visit the passport service center.
Mobile passport van service is being started by the Ministry of External Affairs in Madhya Pradesh. With this, the process of passport application will become even easier in the state. This facility will be available in those cities where there is no post office passport service center yet.
Many facilities will be available in the mobile van. These include fingerprint and biometric scanning, document verification, photo taking facility. This van will be fully technically capable and will work like a mobile passport office.
