Overloaded Bus Overturns: 30+ Injured in Crash Amid Speed & Negligence

The havoc of speed has been seen in Sagar district. Where a passenger bus going from Deori to Sagar overturned, causing panic among the passengers. More than 30 people were injured in the accident. All the injured have been admitted to the hospital for treatment.

Actually, a cow came in front of the bus full of passengers. To save it, the driver applied brakes. Due to sudden braking, the steering failed and the bus overturned. There were 50 passengers in it. People who reached the spot broke the glass and took the cow out and with the help of an ambulance, she was brought to the Community Health Center of Deori.

Meanwhile, seeing the serious condition of passenger Pyarelal Ahirwar, doctors have referred him to Sagar. While the rest of the injured are undergoing treatment. Pyarelal was going to Gaurjhamar to get his daughter-in-law Ashwini and her one-year-old daughter treated. The daughter-in-law has also been injured. But the innocent child has not suffered any scratch.

Teachers also injured in the accident

Teachers going from Deori to Cheemadhana school were also injured in this accident. Preeti Thakur, Chandrakala Sen were also injured. Teacher Gayatri Thakur suffered an injury in her hand. On receiving the information about the incident, SDOP Shashikant Sarayam, Naib Tehsildar R Chaudhary and police force of Deori police station reached the spot.

Driving the bus after drinking alcohol

The passengers told that the driver of the bus was driving the bus at a high speed after drinking alcohol. Due to which this accident happened. Both the driver and conductor of the bus have absconded after the incident. At present, the police have started investigating the matter.

Now the question also arises that when will the administration take action against overloading?
