PM Modi to Visit Bhopal for 2.5 Hours: Massive Security in Place
Plan-B Ready Amid Historic Women Empowerment Gathering in Madhya Pradesh
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will stay in Bhopal for two and a half hours as part of a high-profile visit coinciding with the largest women empowerment event ever held in Madhya Pradesh. With heightened security arrangements, including a robust Plan-B, the city is on high alert to ensure smooth execution of the event.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who is coming to attend the biggest ever Women Empowerment Maha Sammelan, will stay in Bhopal for two and a half hours. The PM will reach Bhopal at 11:20 am. He will address the women for about 45 minutes at the venue.
More than two lakh women from across the state will participate in the Women Empowerment Maha Sammelan to be held at Jamburi Maidan in Bhopal. In the program, the Prime Minister will release a postage stamp and commemorative coin dedicated to Lokmata Devi Ahilyabai. At the same time, artists who have made significant contributions in tribal, folk and traditional arts will be honored with the National Devi Ahilyabai Award. The PM will also visit the exhibition based on the good governance, women empowerment and cultural contribution of Devi Ahilyabai.
Along with this, he will virtually launch the super priority corridor of Indore Metro from the venue itself. He will inaugurate Datia Airport built at a cost of Rs 60 crore and Satna Airport built at a cost of Rs 37 crore. As part of preparations for Simhastha 2028, he will perform virtual bhoomipujan for the 29 km long ghats to be built on the Shipra river at a cost of Rs 778.91 crore. He will also perform bhoomipujan for the construction of barrage, stop dam and weighed causeway costing more than Rs 80 crore. This work will be done in Dhar, Ujjain, Indore, Dewas and other districts.
