The police has finally had to apologize in the case of misbehavior with journalists in the women's police station in Katni, Madhya Pradesh. After the action of Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, the attitude of the police softened. The video of leniency is going viral on social media. In which police officers are seen apologizing to the journalists. Police officers said we made a mistake, please forgive us. After the removal of SP Abhijeet Ranjan, the police finally had to apologize to the journalists with folded hands.

This incident came to light when Katni's CSP Khyati Mishra was transferred to the post of SDOP in Amarpatan in Maihar district. Her husband, who is a tehsildar in Damoh district, Shailendra Sharma, along with his son and other family members, had come to collect goods from Khyati Mishra's government residence. During this, the police allegedly beat up his family members.
