Rahul Gandhi to Arrive in Bhopal Shortly

Congress Leaders Gather at Airport; Observers to Be Assigned Tasks Under 'Srujan Sangathan'

Senior Congress leader Rahul Gandhi is set to reach Bhopal shortly. A large number of Congress leaders have gathered at the airport to welcome him. During his visit, Gandhi is expected to assign key responsibilities to observers under the Madhya Pradesh Congress's organizational initiative, 'Srujan Sangathan'.

Congress workers are quite excited to welcome the Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi, who is coming on Tuesday to launch the Congress' new campaign Sangathan Srujan Abhiyan in Madhya Pradesh. Rahul Gandhi's plane will land at Bhopal airport in some time. All the big leaders of MP Congress have reached the airport to welcome him. These include former Union Minister Arun Yadav, MLA Arif Masood, former minister PC Sharma, former state president Kantilal Bhuria, MLA Vikrant Bhuria. At the same time, a round of meetings will start at 11 am in the state Congress headquarters.

Most of the observers appointed by the party have reached Bhopal. Rahul Gandhi had started the campaign in Gujarat, the state with the worst performance of the Congress. Madhya Pradesh is the second state where this campaign is going to start. Under this, the organization has to be strengthened further. The party has appointed senior leaders from other states as observers. Their number is 61. These include MLAs, MPs, former ministers and big officials in different states of the country including Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh, Maharashtra, Jharkhand, Assam, Andhra Pradesh.
